"A century-old stone house done right. The GR 50 trail genuinely starts at the front door — we did the Touvedo stage on day one. Equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with proper hot water, parking for two cars. Manuela checked us in personally and left a bottle of vinho verde from a local producer."

"Brought my two kids and the dog (well — left the dog with my parents). Garden is huge and walled, perfect for them to run around while we cooked at the barbecue. The valley view from the terrace at sunset is unreal. Booked direct after the first night to lock in next summer."
